Benedetta Wasonga is a human rights expert focusing on the prevention of sexual exploitation, abuse, and human trafficking and modern slavery. She has a master’s degree in Human Rights and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Nairobi. She was nominated by the government of Kenya to the position of Special Coordinator for the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse in the United Nations in 2022.
