Michaela Benson is professor of public sociology at Lancaster University. She co-leads the research project Rebordering Britain and Britons after Brexit (MIGZEN).
Her books include ‘The British in Rural France’ (2011) and ‘Lifestyle Migration in Malaysia and Panama’ (with Karen O’Reilly, 2018). She also podcasts, producing and presenting ‘Brexit Brits Abroad’ (2017-20) and ‘Who Do We Think We Are?’ (2021-present).
